Since its incorporation in 1994, Kernan Consulting Engineers, based in Gloucester County, New Jersey, has provided municipal and private clients with a wide range of engineering, planning, surveying and environmental services. Our founder, J. Timothy Kernan, as an Engineer and Planner has served numerous towns in Atlantic, Camden, Gloucester and Salem Counties. Kernan Consulting Engineers currently serves as Municipal Planner and/or Engineer for Monroe, Mantua, Woolwich and Pitman in Gloucester County, Planning Board Planner in Gloucester City, Camden County and also Landscape Architect in the Borough of Glassboro. A noteworthy private association is our long-term relationship developed with Virtua Health Systems. Projects were completed on the campuses of Marlton, Berlin, Voorhees and Camden
Kernan Consulting Engineers has extensive experience in the design and approval process in the State of New Jersey for single-family and multi-family residential, retail/commercial, office, industrial and institutional projects, including, in many cases, mixed-use development. The firm’s experience includes engineering design consistent with Municipal ordinances, County regulations, Utility Agency standards and State requirements including wastewater treatment, water quality regulations, flood plain and freshwater regulations, and threatened, endangered species habitat regulations and highway access regulations
